We are an institution that endeavors to promote geography and geographers. We organize conferences and workshops, publish geographical journals, and support young talents studying geography in Czechia (Geography Olympiad). We are committed to international partnerships in Europe as well as overseas. We are members of IGU (International Geographical Union), EUGEO (Association of European Geographical Societies), and ICEHO (International Consortium of Environmental History Organizations). We believe that “geography” really matters.
